Definitely not the soundtrack fans mention when they point to the OST.ĭating Start - it reminds me of an average Pokemon soundtrack it works, but isn't great.

Snowdin Town - good not head-bashing and not fantastic either. This track just wants to make me throw up.ĭogbass - it's funny how the most detailed soundtrack in Undertale is also only 6 seconds long.ĭogsong - one of those 'songs' that makes you want to bash out your head if you listen for too long. Provides a feel for the character, but isn't great at all musically. Very mediocre imo, and would cause an avalanche of complaints if any of the Final Fantasy's had this as their battle themes. Then there's the battle theme, 'Enemy Approaching'. Megalovania, Heartache, Home, Asgore, and Spear of Justice were just fantastic for me.īut then you have these, many of which are the ONLY ones you hear for the first hour: I mean, there's a nice amount of songs that invoke emotion, and some very nice pieces as well. I bring up another 10 or so other pieces, and they say 'yeah, I never really liked those'.

When I ask which pieces, they always list 3-4 pieces they like - and that's it. The trend I've been seeing so far is that people say Undertale is fantastic, and they love the soundtrack. I have some pretty big respect towards the game, so I'm not trying to mock it in any way, just clarifying and trying to figure out what's going on here. I just want to ask you guys how you feel about the music, on a whole.
